The King Arthur Flour Bakery (Shop and Classrooms too) is just a few minutes north of me now and we felt particularly adventurous (and hungry) this morning. My mom was on a quest for coffee, Lilah for something with sugar icing (cinnamon bun!), and me... I was just hungry! Don't worry, we all had protein too. ;-)

We were distracted from our Quest by the well-worn throne and knight in armor (not so shining). We tried to look serious and regal...

We are all much too silly and just ended up looking constipated. Mom gave it more effort than the rest of us...

Besides the yummy food, there are classrooms and an enormous kitchen that you can view through big windows.

Lilah insisted this braided bread MUST be fake. It's just way too shiny. No point arguing!

The whole place was mobbed by around noon (TIP: get there EARLY!) so we headed next door to the Montshire Museum of Science.

Our favorite exhibits were the Bubbles...

the bees...

A glass elevator (with the gears visible) that is powered by a kid riding a bicycle...

the huge pre-historic creatures made from sticks...

(this one is a wooly mammoth)...

the tower view of the surrounding area and the science water park!

There are really nice walking trails around the museum and I hope to come back here often to explore them. Lilah is hoping to return tomorrow with her bathing suit so she can conduct proper experiments and completely submerge herself in her work. Then she heads back to NH and school and I start my classes too!
